... being committed to the protection of endangered species, including water sponsorship, the maintenance of our meadow orchard as a natural landmark and our multi-species garden VAGaBUND.

Climate and Energy

... by working for the successful phasing out of nuclear power, the energy revolution from below, the stopping of new coal the construction of new coal-fired power plants, for divestment in climate-damaging investments in climate-damaging power generation (divestment). 

Road traffic

... by working to reduce pollution from Leipzig/Halle airport and to implement a sustainable transport plan for the city.

BUND is a recognised nature conservation organisation under Section 63 of the Federal Nature Conservation Act (Bundesnaturschutzgesetz) and Section 3 of the Environmental Legal Remedies Act (Umwelt-Rechtsbehelfsgesetz) and must therefore be involved in the approval process for construction projects.
