BUND Regional Group Leipzig
BUND stands for Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland and is an independent, nationwide NGO that has been working to protect nature and the environment since the mid-1970s. With over 650,000 members and supporters, 16 state organisations and 2,300 local and regional groups, BUND is now one of the largest environmental organisations in Germany.
The Leipzig regional group has been working since 2009 to protect the environment and nature in and around Leipzig. We are a group of dedicated volunteers and invite you to take a tour of our website, where you will find selected information in English.

Working groups
We are organized into 17 working groups, a youth group and two local-groups in Eastern and Southeastern Leipzig.
Our current projects
Besides the working groups and their projects, we also have two urban garden and two third-party projects in Leipzig, where you could also get involved.
